That's right. That is a booking confirmation for my tickets to and from Paris! It's the most money I've ever spent in my life, but I got a good deal on them.

I accidentally booked the wrong tickets at first. I mean, they came/went from/to the right places, but there was a 10h layover in Chicago. I called the agent and got things moved around the right way. Now I only have a 2h 45m layover in Chicago.

Speaking of Chicago, I also just booked my train tickets to go see the consulate. Yet another purchase. Big spender, right? Seriously, I spent more today than I have ever spent in an entire month. I'll be spending some time in the city that day before heading back that night. The break will be nice, but hopefully I'll be able to sleep on my way there and get some work done on the way back. We'll see...

Okay. You've patiently waited through my over-excitement. Here's a picture for you! It's of Christian, who was nice enough to model for me for my portrait assignment about a month ago. He was very comfortable with the camera, and I got a lot of really good shots, so look forward to seeing some more of him in the future.
