Happy Birthday, Petry!

So to help with my backlog of photos I have to post, and to make up for not posting in a while, I'm trying something new. Blitz Blogging. I have 4-5 posts that I want to try and crank out this evening, and I'm going to get it all done thanks to my wonky sleep schedule.

So to start off my blogstravaganza, my roommate celebrated her 21st birthday a few days ago, and because we're broke and both overly worked trying to get things in order for school, she decided she just wanted to go hang out with a few people and go to the top of Montparnasse Tower, with the 360 view of Paris. Afterwards we trekked to our friend, Troy's, apartment for some food and hanging out.

Troy was kind enough to invite us over after seeing the tower.

We weren't quite ready for the spread of deliciousness that Troy had in store. He laid out a plethora Gouda, salami, pepperoni, baguette, goat cheese, olive oil, and chips. My only regret is that we scarfed it all down before I got a photo. Otherwise, absolutely superb.

After the food was voraciously devoured, Troy pulled out his pride and joy, Jessica the guitar, to sing Petry her birthday gift.

And chilling around and having a great time. By the time we looked at our phones, the Metro had long shut down, so Troy was kind enough to let us stay the night and head back home the next day.

Overall, a fantastic evening. I hope Petry enjoyed her birthday as much I did. Happy birthday, Petry!
